We have the exclusive rights to the only patent for extracting tranfer factors from colostrum for human consumption for North America. We share the worldwide (other than North America) rights with Tomorrow's Foods.
We have the exclusive worldwide patents for extracting transfer factors from eggs. There are a few illegal competitors that are claiming to sell bioactive transfer factors from colostrum. 4Life has taken legal action against six of these companies. These legal actions are in progress.
Scientists at 4Life have tested some of these products to find they did not contain bioactive transfer factors extracted from colostrum.
Even with a few illegal competitors we have far less competitors than other MLM programs. Being exclusive is only part of the picture and it isn't necessary for great success. Having a degree of exclusiveness is helpful. Morinda started out with an exclusive product but soon had dozens of copy cats. With more than three dozen competitive products sold even at Wal Marts and GNC, Morinda went from 500 million dollars in annual sales to one billion dollars worldwide.
We have a much more effective product with a greater degree of exclusiveness. Keep in mind that in all companies with great products you have hard working distributors that fail and others that succeed. Often the difference is support.
