Here is my verified answer to your request.
I would suggest starting and increasing the dose slowly as follows:
1st through the second week the usual recommended daily dose of TF, one cap. thrice daily,
3rd through the 4th week increase to 6 capsules daily
5th and there after increase to 9 capsules daily
6th week add one cap. of TF+ three times daily;
and increase to two TF+ thrice daily on the 8th week and stay on that regimen.
I hope this helps your friend. I would emphasize that TF should never replace conventional treatment.
