Hashimoto's thyroiditis is an autoimmune disease affecting the thyroid gland. Dr. Markowitz has suggested TF starting at 1-2 caps daily and slowly building up to 6 caps daily over several weeks might be helpful in re-educating the immune response. Dr. Markowitz has also mentioned the importance of your doctor following your thyroid function along the way.
I have a very close friend that has Hashimoto's and has been on tf for several years with positive results.
