You know it's pretty bad...When you feel like kicking all the elves to see which one gets mad!
Verse 1 - Dashing to the store, the parking lot is packed... Parked 6 blocks away, and now I'm really hacked... The rain is coming down, can't help but get upset... Still 2 blocks away and I'm already soaking wet! Oh! (Chorus)
Verse 2 - Made it to the store, looking like a wreck!
The guard just locked the door, I could have wrung his neck! I'm standing right outside, it's almost Christmas EVE.. I can't believe I just got here and now I have to leave! OH! (Chorus)
Verse 3 - Dashing out the door, this time I won't be late...The traffic is a mess, it's what I really hate...Finally made it here, into the parking lot... Drove 'round 'n 'round 'n round again, but still can't find a spot! OH! (Chorus)
Verse 4 - I can't believe my eyes, this place is such a zoo... I have to park the car... what am I gonna do? This is my only chance to shop at TOYS R US.. I think that by the looks of things I should have rode the bus! OH! (Chorus)
Verse 5 - Christmas Eve is almost here, with no presents yet to wrap... I think I'll lie down here and take a little nap... so when tomorrow comes, I'll awaken with the heart... to tell the guy with all the nerve "Hey, please don't steal my cart"! OH! (Chorus)
Verse 6 - Dashing through the store, the shelves are looking bare...I guess that I should mind, but frankly I don't care.. I'm sure I'll find something more than a bunch of rocks... but then again, a baby will play with an empty box ! OH! (Chorus)
Verse 7 - I'll be here awhile, 'cause the line's a mile long... That's how I found the time to write this silly song... I have one Christmas wish, that I will make it back... To my home and family without getting car hijacked! OH! (Chorus)
Verse 8 - Dashing from the store, my work here is all done... I guess you could say I didn't have much fun! So when this madness ends I'd really like to see... everyone around to know GOOD things in life are free!
