Hello there! Most of you have not met or talked to me. My name is Donna. I am the general manager. I do not interact with the field. I am an internal manager, working behind the scenes to make sure we are doing all that we can to assist you in achieving your goals. At the same time we are in pursuit of what Mike refers to as our quest. The following discourse is a combination of my writing and what I have copied from Mike's interaction with leaders in the field. It more or less is a State of the Union address to you our friends and partners in success.
The Professional Networkers organization grew at its slowest percentage in September. Although, we grew a little some of our leaders actual lost volume this month. At mid-month we could see that growth had slowed. Mike hired on of his conventional research companies, Research & Marketing Consultants, to do a quick survey throughout the industry to see what others are experiencing.
Mike also had his staff do an internal comparison of our other MLM organizations. In addition to these actions we contacted a selected few 4Life International Diamond organizations to trade information with them. Our goal was three-fold: First, to see if our organization was experiencing a slow down in growth due to our own internal problems. Secondly, to see if 4Life in general was experiencing a slow down. Thirdly, to see is the industry in general was experience a slow down.
Our theory was that the terrorist situation had influenced the industry as a whole. Also, this month is three days short of last month, because of September ending on a weekend and having one day less than August. Our theory proved correct. A number of companies experienced a slow down. All of the 4Life organizations we checked with experienced a slow down. The industry as a whole experienced a general slow down.
The reason why we went through so much effort to analyze the situation is that we want to keep a "finger on the pulse" of the lifeline of our organization. As the dynamics of the industry change we must change with it. If we have a slowing of growth we need to respond.
Although our over organization has continued to grow at a steady pace, we are not satisfied with that type of growth. During the past six months we have been strategizing how to move our organization into momentum growth. Momentum growth is a period where growth comes easier and at a more rapid pace.
Our first step was to work with 4Life to create a broader base for momentum. It is difficult for an organization to move into momentum without the company being in place as a foundation to that growth. We believe 4Life has moved into a position that will support a momentum growth period of Professional Networkers.
We are close to having our strategies and systems refined for that thrust. We have also looked at the groups within our overall organization that are not growing to see if we can accommodate their particular situations more effectively.
Have no doubt that we are on the right track. The future is bright. One thing you can count on is that when you and we get where we want to be, we will stay there. You will find that growth without a long-term strategy to maintain that growth will fail most people. I remember telling that to some of the largest players in Cell Tech and New Vision. My prophecy has come true for most of them.
It is interesting when the top players leave a company after experiencing some of the fastest growth in the industry. It is interesting that when the top player in such a company actually focuses more time on another program (Internet in nature) than he does on his primary program that has earned him millions of dollars. Something is wrong. Don't be deceived by past track records of some of the over night wonders of the past seven to eight years. A number of them have lost the majority of their residual income.
You’re on the right ship. Thanks for staying on board. The best is yet to come. We have only just begun our journey. Some of you have experienced a few potholes along the way that has slowed you from your greatest potential. For some of you it wasn't even your fault. It really doesn't matter. When you understand the dynamics of network marketing it is just a matter of adjusting your approach and moving forward. I appreciate each of you for what you have done and most of all for who you are.
Donna
