Baldy,
Nice to hear from you. Which "baldy" are you? We have three distributors that go by that name. During the past 18-24 months we have been able to track every individual that has visited our site. We know what links a new person visited on our site. We know how long they were on the site. By placing "tracking cookies" on these visitors we were able to know how many times the same individual returned to the site. We know which of these visitors enrolled, and the average number of visits and time period before they enrolled.
From this information and from several surveys we believe we know what we need to do in order to improve the effectiveness of this site.
We have several goals for the new website. Overall goals include:
(1)To help new prospects navigate our site. Since our site is multi-purposed, we have a great deal of information on the site. This has advantages and disadvantages. We have several surveys that show prospects, in general, that enroll are very impressed by the vast amount of resource information on our site. Only 3% of the individuals surveyed believed we had too much information. A great number of prospects did feel somewhat lost on the site. By adding a navigator we will correct this weakness.
(2) We will increase the training available on the site. One vital factor in maintaining sustained growth and retention is providing effective training. We are adding a number of training tapes to the site. The expanded access to training information should provide a source of consistent motivation to our distributors.
(3)In order to accommodate distributor that are targeting customers as well as distributors we are adding an expanded product information site. This new link will assist individual that do not want to send medical professionals to our MLM site.
(4)We will be providing a couple of gateway sites that you can use to promote your site. These gateway sites will be smaller sites that will be used to create interest in a prospect before they come to the expanded site.
These four points are an overview of our expansion plans. We are going to have the site up soon. The first installment will included a great deal of goals but we will be adding features daily until it is completely up.
