Hello Mark,
Chisolm processes transfer factors from chicken blood. Although there is some benefit in consuming chicken transfer factors, the benefit doesn't compare to consuming transfer factors from a mammal. Birds have certain differences in their immune systems from mammals that limit their benefits. Human Beings are mammals and can benefit best from immune factors from its own animal class.
When they refer to antigen specific transfer factors, they are talking about intensionally exposing the chicken to certain germs. When this happens you can know for sure that the transfer factors will have information on that particular germ. In reality all transfer factors are specific for certain germs. You may not know exactly what germs they are specific toward unless you intentionally expose the animal to the certain germ.
When you take transfer factors from a number of herds and cows, you can be reasonably assured that the transfer factor from these cows have been exposed to the majority of germs concerning mankind.
In any regard transfer factor from a mammal is far more effective for a human than tf from a bird.
