Dear Bobby,

I, too, have obligations that prevent me from attending the convention. I love conventions but, in spite of the hype that usually surrounds them, I don't believe they have ever made a big difference in my business. When it comes right down to it, systematic day to day work is what gets the job done. I come back from conventions full of excitement but it only lasts a short time. And the new things that are taught can be gotten from our active upline after the convention. All in all, I would recommend that people attend who can afford it without creating major debt or disruption. It is a great party and helps us to feel a part of 4Life. It is not the ingredient that will make or break our personal success. Following a proven system one day at a time is the real key to success. I believe that the kind of excitement presented in the conference call is not an accurate reflection of reality and does a disservice to the distributor organization.

I also want to express caution regarding the new marketing video and system that is coming out. During my 10 years as a networker, I have seen many videos and marketing tools released that were supposed to take the world by storm. They seldom did. I, personally, would approach with some caution a "system" that had not been carefully tested in the real world. I can't tell you how many times I've spent many hundreds of dollars on systems and sales aids with little return. This new video may turn out to be the best tool ever. And I don't want to be left behind and lose out. While I will buy some of the tapes and actively pursue what I've missed from my upline, I plan to be cautious and follow the advice and leading provided by Mike Akins and the Professional Networkers staff. I know that his methods have been carefully tested and allow me to build my business step by step.

Sincerely,

William Wise
