Hi William. You are not alone in your concern. I hadn't noticed this was not a Professional Networkers telephone number until several persons in my downline called and expressed their concern about the non Professional Networkers telephone number within the MAP TO WEALTH booklet, that new distributors were to call and leave a recording of specific personal information.
I called that telephone number to check it out, and discovered a 3rd party individual, other than Professsional Networkers staff, now has the ability to access the name, telephone number and ID# of EVER PERSON RESPONING TO THE 25,000 orginal distribution quantity of the MAP TO WEALTH booklet,...as well as the ID# of their sponsor.
I am not implying it was intentional or just coincidental that all of this valuable marketing data went to a publishers voice mailbox rather than our own Professional Networkers voice mailbox. Accidental, coincidential or what ever, the end result is that a person who is not on the Professional Networkers staff, and just happens to be in MLM marketing himself, has access information from the voice mailbox that one could use to build a significant, current and solid lead list.
I am somewhat surprised at a portion of the comments of one of the other persons responding to your posting made, by stating "...finding out that the phone number is just a voice mail that people call in on, I felt perfectly fine about it." Something must have gotten lost in the translation ...because when a person calls that number they are asked to leave their name, telephone number, ID# and their sponsor #. And to me that would seem to be significant. There is no question in my mind that Professional Networkers has, and should have access to that information. The concern of a number of persons that have already contacted me, is all that same information is readily available to be accessed by another person. Coincidental or not, I feel that is not appropriate.
The MLM industry ranks near the top in being an agressive and competitive industry, so why even take a chance to initiate an action that could raise an eyebrow? I sm sure if this was unintentional, then the publisher of the MAP TO WEALTH will change that telephone reference to a Professional Networkers office telephone number before the next printing, which I understand is very soon.
I look forward to confirmation of that action on this bulletin board that will assure us... before the distribution of anymore booklets beyond the orginal printing of 25,000,....the voice mail message telephone number will be revised to a Professional Networkers number.
